Our Triune God is sufficient within Himself. He does not lack anything. You are, whether you want to admit it or not, insufficient on your own. You lack the ability to save yourself from yourself; therefore, you need help outside yourself. There is good news! The God who lacks nothing makes you complete in Him. No amount of individual talent or treasure can make you complete or whole. Any sufficiency you have is firmly rooted in the eternal power of God. God’s completeness is the foundation of your wholeness. In Him you have everything required to live a life of fullness and abundance. You possess every resource required to endure suffering and humbly accept the victories brought by Christ. However, you must remember two key words—in Him.
